Wells Fargo - Design System
Living Guidelines for Team Works
It begins with Learn
The research team at Wells had conducted user and stake holder interviews. My research was 3 fold.

1. Study the data and user personas to understand the wants and needs of the user in order to identify the problem.
2. Study the Wells Fargo brand guidelines, so that I may have a complete understanding of their visual language and brand tone of voice.
In that process I became a certified brand steward with WF.
3. Extensive and detailed research of 4 separate enterprise design systems, including Google material design.
The Problem
Designers and developers need to be educated and guided on how to design for TeamWorks new UI design patterns and visual language. Users (TeamWorks) wanted notification tools, status reports and company news. But most of all they wanted customization within these tools, both in data and design. This need would effect how we design the system.
Solution
The WF team designed a visual user interface, landing page that solved the users wants and needs. My challenge was to design a system around it, a system for other designers and developers to do the same, using this single high fidelity page or png. Below is a set of wire frame concepts for the frame work that would eventually house pages of the final living guidelines system.
Below is 1 of 7 pages of 1 category within an 8 category system.
Leveraging our research, the team and I identified 8 categories in which to build our design system.
Category 1 - Design Language - Below are seven pages from just 1 of the 8 categories within the system.
